The Funtelligent© Story Late in the Summer of 1993, two aspiring entrepreneurs became possessed with the idea of creating education toys for the middle schools students. They assembled “Career Kits” that allowed youngsters to learn all about different vocations, such as fire fighters, engineers, politicians, etc. Funtelligent© was formed and the phrase, “Be Smart and Have Fun!” became our motto. The products never did quite get “off the ground”, but the union of the two college students was a success story in itself. Robert and Julie married and Funtelligent© became more of a hobby. The WATERZOOKA© was first created in 1991 and sold by word of mouth through a company called Orpro. A company founded by Robert and his brother Oren. Orpro = Oren and Robert Products - the simple name chosen because it was a palindrome. These were the early days of the soaker squirt guns and Robert designed the WATERZOOKA© to be the "King of the River" compared to all other squirters. At the time it was dubbed the Water Bazooka and sales were brisk when Oren and Robert had enough time to manufacture and peddle their products. A marriage, four children, and 6 careers later – Robert Peterson is a proud father, happy husband and part-time inventor.
