The Funtelligent© Story
Late in the Summer of 1993, two aspiring entrepreneurs became possessed with the idea of creating educational toys for middle school students. They assembled “Career Kits” that allowed youngsters to learn all about different vocations, such as fire fighters, engineers, politicians, etc. Funtelligent© was formed and the phrase, “Be Smart, Have Fun!” became their motto. The products never did quite get “off the ground”, but the union of the two college students was a success story in itself. Robert and Julie married and Funtelligent© laid dormant for years.
In 2006, Robert stumbled upon one of his old inventions while packing the car for a family vacation. So, he dusted off the 15 year old WATERZOOKA© and figured it would be fun at the summer pool. To his surprise, the "Ultimate Squirt Gun" was the talk of the campground and everyone wanted to get their hands on one. Later that summer, the Funtelligent dream came back to life when Robert posted "Build Your Own" instructions on Waterzooka.com.
For a few years, like minded tinkers purchased O-Rings and downloaded free plans for the WATERZOOKA©. However, there were many requests to purchase them fully assembled. So, in the spring of 2009, The WATERZOOKA© with "Fast Blast" Technology was released, fully assembled and ready to go.
Today there are two options for those who want to get their hands on a WATERZOOKA©:
Just Add PVC - A FREE download of WATERZOOKA© plans so you can “Build Your Own”
Just Add Water - A fully assembled WATERZOOKA©.
